1. Li Canneddi (Isola Rossa)

If you’re looking for a quieter spot away from the main tourist beaches, Li Canneddi is an excellent choice. The beach is known for its fine sand, pebbles and red granite rocks, which are typical of this part of Sardinia.
Distance from Villa Bella Sirena: approximately 25 minutes by car.
Why do we love it? Fewer tourists than on the more famous beaches, beautiful nature, and clear water ideal for swimming.
Note: less suitable for small children loving sand beaches. Proper footwear is needed.
Tip: The sunset here is magnificent in the evening.

2. La Marinedda (Isola Rossa)
A popular beach near Isola Rossa, ideal for families with children.
La Marinedda Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in northern Sardinia. Turquoise waters, light-colored sand, and red rocky cliffs create a typical Sardinian landscape.
Distance: approximately 20-25 minutes from Valledoria.
On the beach, you’ll find beach bars, restaurants, and sports equipment rentals.

3. Li Cossi (Costa Paradiso)

Tip: arrive early in the morning; during the summer months, the beach fills up quickly.

4. La Pelosa (Stintino)
One of Europe’s most famous beaches.
La Pelosa Beach near the town of Stintino is often referred to as the “Caribbean of Europe.”
It features white sand and very shallow turquoise water that remains knee-deep for dozens of meters from the shore. This is precisely why it is extremely popular among families with children.
Distance: approximately 60 minutes by car.
Important information:
Access to the beach is limited, and you must make an online reservation in advance. It is also mandatory to use a straw mat under your towel on the beach to protect the fine sand.
Despite the longer distance, a trip to La Pelosa is one of the experiences in Sardinia that is definitely worth having.

5. Rena Bianca (Santa Teresa Gallura)
Turquoise waters in the heart of the city.
Rena Bianca Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in northern Sardinia and also one of the most easily accessible. It is located right next to the town of Santa Teresa Gallura, so you can easily reach it on foot from the town center.
The beach is known for its soft white sand and crystal-clear turquoise water, which is calm and shallow most of the time. This makes it ideal for families with children.
